The Central Plains RCMP are looking for the public's assistance in locating a Portage man.

Maurice Ray, 59, left his home in Portage la Prairie at 8:30 a.m. on Mon. Apr. 30 and was last seen headed east on foot at on Highway 1A at approximately 10:30 a.m. on the same date.

Ray is described as 5'7 tall, and about 200 lbs. He has greying brown hair, hazel eyes, and a medium build. He was last seen wearing a jeans, a khaki long sleeved shirt and black jacket.

As Ray is considered to be a vulnerable person he is also considered to be "at risk".

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Maurice Ray is asked to call the
