It is said that you have to know when to hold 'em and know when to fold 'em.

For Vicky Addison of Portage la Prairie, that time has come.

For 38 years, Addison has been a staple at the Bank of Montreal during her tenure.

Despite the changes the branch has undergone in the last four decades, Addison said she was happy to be able to work for so many years and interact with so many customers, an aspect that she said was most rewarding on a daily basis.

She added that she'll miss the people more than anything but wanted to spend more time with her family and felt it was the right time.

BMO will be hosting a lunch on May 2 for Addison to says thanks for all she's meant to the BMO bank and community.
