Thursday Night Mixed League hands out awards 0

The Thursday Night Mixed League held its league windup at Seasons Family Restaurant on Mar. 29, with several different players taking home hardware.

Greg Scharf had the mens' high triple for the season at 623, while Judy Shirtliff held the same title for the ladies at 623.

The high single for the ladies was held by Jill Lander (247), while Glenn Hourie scored the same result for the men at 240.

Amanda Lander had the season high average for the ladies at 201, while Jim Unrau held a 197 to lead the men. Notable was that Jill Lander bowled 100 pins over her average.

Amanda Lander also scored the most improved average at +12 for the ladies, and Ken Perry had the same result for the men at +18.

In terms of teams, the Happy Bowlers had the most points for the season overall. The team is made up of Edna Rintoul, Dianne Dzikowski, Ken Perry and Ted Pongoski.

In the 'A' Division, the Jokers, made up of Jim Unrau, Ferne Green, Judy Shirtliff and Ed Dzikowski was on top.

Lastly, in the 'B' Division, the Nighthawks of Linda Green, Shirley Unrau, Gord Zahara, Valerie Pogue and Dave Addison came out on top.
